Alliance Bible Church is part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. Gospel-driven service to the community and support of international missions are central to the church’s identity. The church is deeply committed to the task of discipleship. The congregation is diverse socio-economically and has ties to Baylor through faculty members. Alliance Bible Church is in “growth mode” and is prayerfully considering new programs and church plants.
Information about Alliance Bible Church's Congregational Project
Alliance Bible Church views the church as a community called to evangelism and discipleship. Jesus gave the church this vocation, yet many Christians feel overwhelmed by the idea of sharing their faith or encouraging new believers.
In response to the church’s calling and to the uncertainties that Christians continue to face, Alliance Bible Church offers courses like “Alpha,” a safe yet challenging space to explore the Christian faith. The congregation also hosted a "Peacemaker" training in 2022 to encourage members to embrace the Christian call to be peacemakers. More recently, the church has been hosting worship services for members of the deaf community.
